These amazing floating candles will amaze your guests and add a magical glow to your occasion. They will add interest and charm to any event or party.
 
They can be used in any type of container, drinking glass, jar, bowl, vase, anything that can hold liquid.
 
Just add water, then add approximately 1cm of vegetable or sunflower oil. Let the oil settle briefly. Add a wick to the centre of the float, place the float onto the top of the oil and light (we recommend using a safety gas lighter with a long nozzle). Add as many floats as you like to complete your perfect centrepiece.
 
You can change the colour of the water with some food colouring, add an aroma with some essential oil or add glitter for some extra sparkle.
(add any of these extra elements to the water before you add the oil).
 
The oil layer is the fuel that burns the candle, if the oil runs out, the wick will just extinguish. Should your container or vase be knocked over, the water and lack of oil to fuel the flame, will also extinquish the wick.
 
Each wick will burn for around 10 hours, with the correct amount of oil. When the wick runs out, simply remove any remaining part of the wick left in the float, and replace with a new one. 
 
It is the responsibility of the purchaser or venue to provide the vegetable/sunflower oil needed in the use of the floating candles and to ensure that any remaining oil is disposed of appropriately and responsibly. Remaining oil can be absorbed with paper towels and disposed of in general waste. Oil should NOT be added to drains because of the risk of blockages. If necessary please liaise with your venue to make the necessary disposal arrangements.
 
Warm water and washing up liquid is the best way to remove any remaining oil residue in the vase.
